Lessons from Sura Luqman Part 3: Consider no deed too small
In Sura Luqman, Allah has mentioned the advice that Hazrat Luqman gives to his son. He says:
ููุง ุจูููููู ุฅููููููุง ุฅูู ุชููู ู ูุซูููุงูู ุญูุจููุฉู ู ูููู ุฎูุฑูุฏููู ููุชูููู ููู ุตูุฎูุฑูุฉู ุฃููู ููู ุงูุณููู ูุงููุงุชู ุฃููู ููู ุงููุฃูุฑูุถู ููุฃูุชู ุจูููุง ุงูููููู ุฅูููู ุงูููููู ููุทูููู ุฎูุจููุฑู
[31:16]ย O my son! surely if it is the very weight of the grain of a mustard-seed, even though it is in (the heart of) rock, or (high above) in the heaven or (deep down) in the earth, Allah will bring it (to light); surely Allah is Knower of subtleties, Aware;

As We Say Goodbye . . .
The days have been long and the nights much too short. We started with some trepidation about how we would manage with the heat and the thirst. Alhamdulliah, with Allahโs grace and strength, the month flew by much too fast. As we approach the final few days of the Blessed Month, we may be feeling a mix of emotions: a tinge of sadness at the ending of the month of Blessings, Mercy and Forgiveness, a wondering of how to make the awesome feeling of closeness to Him and spirituality stay with us a little longer.
For many of us, this is the only time in the year when we change the focus of our attention from worldly matters and at least cast a glance at matters of the spirit. During the rest of the year, although we may profess love and belief in Allah, we may think of Him or call on Him only in times of distress and rarely find time to turn to Him in prayer and gratitude. ย During this awesome month, however, we have tasted of the Divine Banquet of Mercy, we have developed some good habits...
